What is your Education? Some college. Certified with IABC as a Biblical Counselor and I have found this to be the most helpful in grounding me in biblical truth and doctrine. It has taught me how to use biblical principles to apply to my life and help others. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Tell us about your family. Married 27 years to husband, Joel, and two daughters in college, Cara and Rachel.

Why are you on staff? There is nothing else that I can imagine doing with my time than serving God. My job (does not seem like a job) helps keep me focused on others and I am blessed to have this opportunity.

What is your favorite song? “It Is Well With My Soul”

What do you do in your free time? I travel with my husband for both pleasure or to accompany him on business trips. Visit our girls at college. Run at the Lafayette Reservoir. Lunch with my parents.

What is your favorite verse, book or passage? Psalm 63:1-8; Matthew 6:19-34. Verses 33-34” But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own thing. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” This helps me to not worry but to focus on God’s plan instead of controlling what I want.

Favorite Bible author? John in 1 John. Fundamentals of doctrine and victorious life in Christ. 6:11-13
