Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission
The mission of the church is to build Christians who worship God, walk in love, and witness to the world (Matthew 28:19,20). We do this best by following the biblical method of discipleship. The natural response of spirit-filled lives impelled by Scripture is devotion to God, our worship, our walk, and our witness.

IN OUR WORSHIP – we worship God passionately as the Holy Spirit combines head and heart in fresh expressions of devotion (Romans 12:1). We believe that God is most glorified when we are most pleased in Him. Therefore, we cultivate awe and enjoyment of God in our public worship services and our private lives.

IN OUR WALK – we love one another in Christ-centered relationships that reflect a commitment to true Christian maturity and community (John 13:35). We believe that Christians are indissolubly linked by our common commitment to Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are drawn to the body of Christ as the means of encouragement, growth, and accountability.

IN OUR WITNESS – we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ for the joy of all people (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that a healthy body bears much fruit. Therefore, we strive to know Him and make Him known at every opportunity open to us, individually and corporately, both here and around the world.

Our Vision
Our vision is to be a teaching church, where every ministry and member is committed to the proclamation and application of the Word of God so that others may come to know Him and live to the glory of God. Thus, we will preach and teach the Word of God at every opportunity in every possible way. This is the primary method of disciple-making by which we accomplish our mission. A church centered on the Word of God will not fall for the foolish fads of modern man. All other efforts are like grass that withers and dies, but “the Word of the Lord abides forever.”
