CARING MINISTRIES describes various ways that we at NorthCreek Church desire to demonstrate love and support for one another. Caring is something every person is responsible for in their Christian walk, and it is also something we can do corporately. Caring involves a concern for others that spills over into loving, compassionate acts. Consider the Caring Ministries listed below and how we may be able to serve you or invite you to serve others through these ministries.
Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13-34-35)
Urgent Care Working through a Triage System to provide a ministry of care to those with serious health issues, serious injury, and/or death.
Benevolent Care Providing benevolent assistance to those in need from the Benevolent Fund under guidelines from the Elders.
Food Pantry Providing food to those in need which is collected from food donations at our church and from the local Food Bank.
Prayer Page - Weekly publication of prayer requests seeking prayer support from our congregation.
Prayer Chain Urgent prayer requests communicated to prayer supporters through phone contact.
VIPS Volunteer team of people ministering to those who are homebound.
SIDE by SIDE A ministry of support to those who are impacted by cancer.
Caring Corps Comprised of several teams of people who serve an on-call basis to assist with auto repair, financial advice, food service, home repair, moving assistance, and transportation.
Caring Projects Volunteer teams who assist with projects pertaining to special needs.
