I came to Christ at the age of 15 through the ministry of Al Siebert, the Executive Director of Youth For Christ, in Long Beach. Following graduation from Millikan High in Long Beach, CA, I served in ministry with Al for the next six years. I served the next two years with Seal Beach Grace Brethren Church as the College Director before moving from Southern California to Walnut Creek in 1984. I began attending Evangelical Free Church (which we now call NorthCreek Church) in the spring of 1984 and have been here ever since. My involvement in this church has included the Adult Teaching Core, Leadership Teams for our Adult Sunday class, Director of Men’s Ministries for four years, and finally, the Director of Biblical Counseling, beginning in 1999.

In 1994, I left the business world (Hedge fund manager in bonds, currencies and commodities) and began preparing my heart and head to enter what has been a lifetime dream for me: that of being in ministry on a full-time basis. I am very grateful for all those who have influenced me in such great ways over the many years of ministry, especially Al Siebert and Jon McNeff.

It is my hope that your experience with our ministry leads you toward the joy God has planned for you, that abundant life that Jesus spoke of in John 15:11 – "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full."
