Master’s Institute desires to offer a Christian college education at a fraction of the cost of other Christian college institutions. In fact, the cost of attending the Institute locally is as much as 80% less than attending a four-year Christian college elsewhere. A student who completes his or her Diploma of Biblical Studies (DBS) from Master’s, while also earning their Associate Degree (AA) at a local junior college, may save as much as $40,000-$60,000.

Costs

For full-time students, all application, registration, and tuition fees are due in full by the first day of the semester (see Academic Calendar below for semester dates). Fees due are as follows:

Application fee (one-time fee): $25
Registration fee (due every session): $50
Tuition (full-time students only): $195/unit
Audit: $30/class
Books: $75/class (approximate)

For those auditing classes, the application, registration, and tuition fees do not apply. A $30 fee is due to help offset Institute costs. Books may be purchased, but are not required.

Scholarships

If you are not in a position to pay the full tuition rate, we want you to come anyway. Contact us at 925.210.9036 or kdresdow@northcreek.org and let us know what you are able to pay so that we can either design a payment plan or set up a scholarship for you.

Refunds

Refunds are based upon the week that the official withdrawal form, completed and signed by the student, is presented to the class teacher, not at the time that the withdrawing student ceases to attend classes. A student who chooses to withdraw from classes without consultation or consent from the professor or Institute office, will not be entitled to any refund. The percentage of tuition or audit costs that may be refunded are based on actual costs paid by the student for that class. Application fees, registration fees, class curriculum and/or syllabi, and book costs are all non-refundable. Study trip refund fees will be based on a variety of travel, accommodation, and administrative factors, to be determined by the director. Any refund for tuition will be prorated on a weekly basis, starting on the first day of the semester, not the first day of class (they may be different days). The tuition refund schedule is as follows:

No attendance 100%
During first week 100%
During second week 90%
During third week 75%
During fourth week 60%
During fifth week 45%
During sixth week 30%
During seventh week 15%
During eighth week 5%
During ninth week or later none
