Summer Daze Info Aug 4-8

Some things you need to know about Summer Daze before registering.
 
Know that we would like to accomodate every Jr High student who desires to participate in our Summer Daze program, but we are limited by the number of volunteer staff and parents who are willing to help out and oversee things. It is essential that we keep our students safe and well cared for.
So right now there is a limit of 40 students per day. This may change depending on the availability of additional staff and parental involvement as Summer Daze draws near.

Therefore priority registration will be as follows:
1) Jr High students (grades 6-8 as of Sept 2008) that have parents volunteering their time and energy for NorthCreek's Day Camp will have first priority.

2) Those students who are actively involved with the Rock (on Sundays or Tuesday nights) will have the next priority.

3) Any additional spaces left over... will be made available on a first come, first serve basis
to Jr High students (grades 6-8 as of Sept 2008 only).

Online registration is required! Students will not be able to participate unless they have signed up online and a confirmation email has been sent to their parents by Lee.
Please understand that signing up is NOT an automatic guarantee that a student can participate. A confirmation email will be sent by Lee after priority registrations and staffing are known.

Obviously, we need to know who all is coming each day so we can plan for enough food, staffing, and if needed... vehicles & drivers to transport students.

Online registration will close when all spaces are filled but may reopen if additional staffing or parental help become available. So check back often if our Summer Daze sign up is closed when you look. 

A permission slip will also be required.
Please note: If you already have an Annual Permission Slip on file with us, another Permission Slip is NOT needed.
If you need a Permission Slip just click on the "Permission Slip" tab that's on the left to select and print one out. (You'll have to scroll back up to see it). Fill it out and have your son or daughter turn it in the day they arrive. Don't forget this!

You can sign up for the whole week or pick and choose which days you would like to participate in. We hope you can be with us the whole week... but your summer schedule might not allow it... which is ok too.
 
 

Parents: We will need some drivers for Tuesday and Thursday. If you can help out... that would be a huge blessing! Please don't let this fall on the same few parents every time. If your son or daughter is participating (and you can help out) then please do... then it's no big deal for anyone. Thanks!
