What's our purpose?

The Rock is simply a microcosm of the larger church. In that, we too have the same goal.
Which is -->To bring glory and honor to our Heavenly Father.img_8494.jpg

How do we do this?

1) By proclaiming His truth, through solid biblical teaching and instruction.

2) By providing opportunities that challenge students to grow in their faith and serve Him well.

3) By providing opportunities for students to grow in their relationships as brothers and sisters in Christ.

At this very important age, it’s essential that our students know what they believe and why they believe it, and then to live out that faith wherever they are and in every situation. Additionally, they should be able to explain their faith to someone else, out of love, and with confidence.

"But the goal of our instruction
is love from a pure heart
and a good conscience
and a sincere faith."

1 Timothy 1:5

The Rock also exists to affirm and confirm what parents have (or should have) been teaching their sons and daughters all along, within their family. As your son or daughter matures in Christ, the Rock can help provide additional opportunities that go beyond the family unit, as students begin to participate and interact within their larger church family.

Therefore, the Rock is a tool that parents can use as they continue in their responsibility of training up their child in the ways of the Lord.

PLEASE NOTE: The Rock is not to be a replacement or substitute for the primary responsibility of parents to train up their children in the ways of the Lord. (see Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

Therefore we HIGHLY encourage parents to be actively involved within this ministry to their own sons and daugthers.
