When and where does the Rock meet? |
|
The Rock meets most Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in Annex A.
This is a time when we worship our Lord together (through music and song), we spend time in prayer for one another and then dig into His Word, with the intent of applying His truth to our lives.
Students should always bring their Bibles with them, for we are constantly in the Word and this also helps them become more familiar with it. (NorthCreek Church uses primarily the New American Standard Bible, 1995 Updated version).
We have a variety of gifted teachers who creatively proclaim His truth to our students.
In terms of what we teach on Sunday mornings:
We chronologically study through God’s Word hitting the major stories, characters and faith doctrines that any child of God should know and be familiar with.
Parents are always welcome to join us and to participate on Sunday mornings and any time the Rock meets.
We also come together most Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m., in the Chapel. (The Online Rock calendar has all the dates, times and locations and is the most up-to-date and current resource).
During the school year, many students participate in our Discipleship Groups, which meet on most Tuesday evenings.

In the summer, when many families and our volunteer staff are on vacation and attendance is a bit more sporadic, we stay together in a large group format. We usually have some fun and then spend time in worship and in prayer before diving into His Word and applying it to our lives.
