NorthCreek Caring Ministry

NorthCreek Caring Ministry (NCCM) is a ministry comprised of godly saints who lovingly care for and serve those of NorthCreek Church who are homebound, chronically ill, widows or widowers, and who are in need of general care.


The Goal of NCCM is to C.A.R.E. 


Communicate:
NCCM communicates the love, compassion, and comfort of Christ by sharing the gospel, Scripture, prayer, and encouragement though home visits and phone calls.

Assess: NCCM assesses the spiritual and physical needs of those who are visited.

Report: NCCM gives up-to-date reports of visits each month and provides awareness of immediate needs.

Encourage: NCCM gives comfort and encouragement by coming alongside a person who is lonely, hurting, and in need of spiritual counsel.


Caring Corp Response Team

Volunteers with unique gifts and abilities are put into teams in order to offer service to those in need.

Teams include:
Auto Repair Team Home Repair Team
Financial Advisory Team Meal Preparation Team
Food Service Team Transportation Team
Moving Team Garden & Yard Work Team

 


Benevolent Care

Benevolent funds provide assistance to those who have depleted their own resources in meeting the basic needs of life. Examples are food, clothing, housing, transportation, and medical expenses. Those needing benevolent care meet with the Pastor of Caring Ministries.


Food Pantry

The NorthCreek Food Pantry provides food donated by the NorthCreek church body to those in need residing in Antioch, Benecia, Brentwood, Clayton, Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Oakley, Orinda, Pittsburg/Bay Point, Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, and Walnut Creek. If you or your family are in need of groceries, we would love to help. The Food Pantry is located on the NorthCreek campus, click here for directions.

To receive food: Please check in at the Welcome Center on Tuesdays from 10 a.m -12 p.m. You will need to bring a photo I.D. with you each time. During your first visit you will be asked to fill out a short intake form.

To donate food: Please bring non-perishable food to the Welcome Center on the first Sunday of the month or drop it off during the week in the Welcome Center. Please have items clearly labeled "Food Pantry."


Prayer Sheet

Each week prayer requests and praise reports are gathered from NorthCreek church members and attendees and are distributed to the congregation.  You can find current Prayer Sheets each week in the Welcome Center, or can receive them by email.
