What to Expect When You Visit NorthCreek

If you are a first time Visitor, please turn on your flashers when you drive on campus so that our parking team can direct you to Visitor's Parking. After you've parked, if you will be bringing children to Sunday School classes, head over to the Check-in windows across the Courtyard (see map for directions). Then stop by the Welcome Center to get a visitor card, which can be returned to the Welcome Center to receive a visitor's packet and a free gift. The Volunteers in the Welcome Center will be happy to assist you in any way possible. NorthCreek is a teaching church, and we are committed to the proclamation and application of the Word of God. For this reason, you'll notice that everything from the songs we sing, to the classes we offer, to the art we hang on the walls, is focused on Scripture.

Services

NorthCreek has two identical Sunday services, 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Our worship director, Dan Grassi, leads the congregation in worship through a mix of contemporary music to traditional hymns, the "style" being less important than the quality and accuracy (to Scripture) of the lyrics. Each month, the NCC congregation works on memorizing Scripture, which we practice together. Jon McNeff, Senior Pastor, is the primary preaching pastor, and typically leads us through an expository study of a book or section of the Bible. Because we believe that God's Word is inerrant and inspired, we dig deeply into the text. Bring a pencil if you're a note taker, and you'll definitely need your Bible! (Ushers pass out Bibles each week if you'd like to borrow one.)

LifeStage Classes

Look in the weekly bulletin when you arrive or check out the LifeStage pages on the website to find out more information about the different LifeStages classes at NCC. We encourage you to find a Lifestage Class where you are comfortable, and enjoy the fellowship, teaching, and shepherding available through these classes. These classes are not a substitute for the primary worship service, but are designed to more specifically address the needs of people as they go through different stages in life. You are always welcome to stop in and check out a class - visitors are always welcome.

Bookstore and Cafe

The NorthCreek Bookstore and Cafe are open Sunday mornings before and after the services. The NorthCreek bookstore is carefully stocked with selected books, study guides, music and resources that have all been carefully reviewed and recommended by our pastoral and counseling staff. CDs of the weekly sermons are also sold here. The cafe offers a wide selection of coffee drinks, salads, sandwiches, and fresh baked desserts, in a warm  environment, perfect for conversation.

What to Wear?

Don't worry about what you wear. Some people are comfortable in jeans, some prefer business casual. Wear what you're comfortable in. God cares more about the heart than the outfit.
