Friday Adventures is a great opportunity to get to know the other moms and kids within WIMS. It also provides a chance to do something creative and fun with the kids. Friday Adventures are open to any mom and her children. Please join us in the fun and bring a friend or two along for the adventure. We are excited for you to participate.
Included in Friday Adventures is the Playdate Connection. Mothers who submit their names, kids ages, e-mail, phone number, and hobbies are welcome to join the list of moms who are seeking to find additional ways to create friendships and find support for these busy years. Ladies who participate in Playdate Connection are responsible for organizing their own playdates or hobby activities. If you would like to have your name added to the list, please e-mail Jennifer Winston.
February-March Playdate Challenge - Tea Time
To help us apply what we have learned about manners, last month's challenge was to host or attend a tea party. While we know that our little girls will be easy to encourage in this, little boys are also included. They could be a prince, knight, or king. If you have not yet hosted a tea party with your children, there is still time; and please take pictures! All the moms who participate will be entered in a drawing. Two lucky moms will win an at-home foot/calf massage and pedicure! E-mail Jennifer with your pictures and names of participating moms before March 12 to be entered.

Armor of God Craft

Our little ones will have their bodies traced and cut out. Then they'll decorate and attach the parts of the Armor of God. This is a wonderful way to instill the Word of God in our children, and a great tool for continuing to teach them at home. Please bring along a snack for yourself and the kiddos to enjoy after the craft is done. Coffee will be provided. Craft cost is $3/child.
