  • Qualifications to Disciple
    A member of NorthCreek Church
    Exemplifies the description for older women in Titus 2:3
    Exhibits the qualities in Titus 2:4-5, able to teach them
    Encouraged to have taken Cornerstone – Biblical Counseling course
    Will be older in age, experience, and spiritual maturity*

 

  • Commitments Required to Participate
    Completion of questionnaire/profile and testimony of the Lord’s grace in your life
    Interview with Discipleship Coordinator, phone or in person
    Attend one training session, Spiritual Mothering: The Older Woman’s Role in Discipleship, within the first 3 months of discipling
    Commitment of 1 year discipling the Younger Woman
    Minimum requirement of meeting once a month without distractions (infants under 1 permitted); but encouraged to meet often

*Occasionally experience and spiritual maturity will be the deciding factors in pairing women. Maximum age disparity of five years (the “older” woman would actually be younger in physical age).

Everything you need to get started is just below. Click to download both the Questionnaire and the Worker Profile. You will need to open and read the Statement of Faith in order to answer a few questions, but you don’t need to print the Statement. After completing you can email all your documents, if you are knowledgeable in this area, to women@northcreek.org, or you simply drop it off at the church office. Be sure to give it to a person at the desk who will put it in the one2one envelope. You can always hand-deliver your forms to Jen Winston as well.
