We invite you to a study of Joseph: Genesis 37-50.This is a Precept upon Precept inductive study where you will learn to love discovering truth for yourselves where the Word will become for you a joy and delight: "Your words were found and I ate them and they became for me a joy and the delight of my heart." (Jeremiah 15:16) This is a great place to begin a precept study because the lessons contain many helpful instructions for new as well as experienced students. The title of the study is "Keeping Your Focus When Your Dreams are Shattered." This is an historical account of how Joseph demonstrates his faith in the midst of painful circumstances. It gives us an example of God's providence in real life and how God uses trials to accomplish His sovereign plans. Come join us as we learn to live in the light of God's precious Word.In October we invite you to continue as we study Romans 1-5
In October we will begin Part I (of four parts) of the book of Romans. We will spend 14 weeks looking at Chapters 1-5 and learning about God's gracious gospel. His "good news" about God's perspective of man's condition and His gracious remedy. How good is God's good news? We will ask questions to help us discover the "who, what, when, where, and why" of the gospel which is about the person of God's Son and His work of redemption. It will be a challenge and joy. Come and join us.
The lesson materials include helpful supplementary materials but the overall focus is on God's Word. Get ready for a delightful challenge! Team Leaders Include: Jan Duffus, Kathy Chamberlain, Nancy Ruth Haworth, Roberta Lindberg, and Katie Willis. For questions call, Jan Duffus at 937-7282
