The Worship & Music Ministry at NorthCreek Church exists to edify the body through equipping and engaging the believer in Jesus Christ to sing their faith through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in corporate worship. W&M Ministry is committed to strengthen vocalists and instrumentalists in worship, musical skill, and artistry.

Our Spotify playlist is a thoughtfully curated collection of songs that reflect the heart of our worship at NorthCreek Church. These songs are part of our master list, used in corporate worship to glorify God and encourage His people. We invite you to listen, sing along, and let these truths deepen your worship throughout the week.
OUR TEAMS

These instrumentalists and vocalists are experienced musicians that lead our congregation in worship for Sunday morning services and special events. Team members serve on a weekly basis and rotate usually 1-2 Sundays a month.

These are vocalists from ages 16 through adult who meet weekly to rehearse for Sunday services and special events. NCC Choir rehearsal schedule runs September through May. We are always accepting new and returning choir members throughout the year. There are informational meetings once a season to get involved in this ministry.

Since 2012, NorthCreek Church has presented The Story, a program proclaiming the Gospel through “living art,” narration, and music. In 2023, we decided to move The Story from December to the spring time in 2024. The Story will now take place near Easter each year.

This ensemble is comprised of auditioned instrumentalists who prepare regularly throughout the fall and spring season for Sunday worship services and our Christmas and Easter presentations, including The Story. Orchestra instrumentalists who are proficient musicians from 16 years old through adults may participate. Age exceptions are made at the discretion of the director.

These volunteers assist in Sunday morning and special events sound mixing, stage monitoring, and audio production support.
Ministry Leaders
Dan Grassi
Minister of Worship & Music
Dan Grassi has served as the Minister of Worship & Music since 2016. Dan provides worship leadership and musical direction for our adult choir, worship band, and orchestra ensembles. Dan has a B.A. in Church Music from San Diego Christian College, an M.A. in Music Education from San José State University. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Music Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to his ministry at NorthCreek, Dan contributes choral music arrangements to the Christian music industry. Dan is married to Thelma, who serves in our worship ministry and is a music educator in Walnut Creek. Dan and Thelma have been married since 1994 and they have two college-aged children, Madeline, and Ruth. Dan enjoys Monterey beaches, Italian food, fishing, golf, and relaxing with his family.
