Matt R
Executive Pastor
Matt R. and his wife moved to the Bay Area in 2012 and joined the church that same year. They have been married since 2004 and have three children. Matt joined the elder board in 2021 and oversees a variety of ministries at the church including the Rooted Lifestage, community groups and teaching core. Kara is involved in women’s ministries and oversees Seedlings and Olive Shoots. Matt earned his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine and practices emergency medicine. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, sports, and writing nonfiction.
