Junior High
Oneighty is NorthCreek church's ministry to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Our desire is to partner with families in teaching and equipping students to love and serve Jesus Christ. Our goal in Oneighty is two-fold: First, we desire that every student have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and second that every believer in the group would be sanctified to be more like Christ. With these goals in mind, we lovingly shepherd students and teach them the Word.
SUNDAY MORNING
Join us each week at 9:00 AM in the FMC! Follow the signs for specific location.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Students meet in grade specific small groups to provide opportunity for fellowship, prayer, and discipleship. (Ephesians 4:11-17; Acts 2:42)

REMIND TEXTING
Purpose: Since it has become difficult to solely rely upon emails for communication, we are now utilizing the Remind texting system for communication. Emails will still be sent with weekly updates, but Remind makes it easier to keep you informed. Parents will receive a text invitation for Remind a few days after completing the Annual Permission Form, DG, or other event registration. Once you are in our database we can easily send you a text.
Practice: Remind is very helpful for sending a text message to parents with an ETA when we are returning on a bus. It is also very helpful if the Director wants to host a last minute dodgeball game on campus that night. Last minute updates or reminders for DGs, Summer Daze, and other events are easily communicated and seen, unlike the last minute email that most people do not see. RECOMMENDED BOOKS
The junior high years are full of many changes, and parents of junior high students often find themselves lacking the wisdom, encouragement, and tools needed to disciple their children. Our ministerial staff have reviewed and recommend all the books on our Junior High Book List. On this list not only will you see repeat authors, but a focus on the family as a whole, parenting in general, and books specifically for those tweens/teens themselves. All these books are available on our Bookstore website northcreekbooks.com. They are listed under the “Life Stages” category and can also be found using the Search box. We hope this resource will continue to grow and be useful in our collective aim to point our students to Jesus.
